MERIDEN, Kan. -  Mammoth on Tuesday announced it will partner with Davis Architects to provide architectural design services for the new Bank Independent Stadium at the University of North Alabama.

Mammoth and Davis will work in conjunction with program manager HPM throughout the design and construction process.

Mammoth has provided previous work for UNA, including locker room environmental graphics, design-build construction of the Hilda B. Anderson Indoor Softball Hitting Facility, and site studies for Bank Independent Stadium.

“Mammoth has a track record of successful projects on campus and we’re confident the partnership with Davis Architects will design a unique, state-of-the-art football stadium that will exceed the expectations of our athletes, fans, and the entire UNA Lions community," said UNA Director of Athletics Dr. Josh Looney.

Mammoth renewed previous working relationships with Davis Architects to bring the dynamic partnership together. The company’s staff have worked together on past projects, including design work at The University of Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium and the Mal M. Moore Athletic Facility.

“It was a relationship that just made sense for the University of North Alabama. Being local to the state, Davis will serve as the architect of record; while Mammoth will complement the partnership as a sports designer from our experience with on-campus work,” said Mammoth’s Director of Sports Design Matt Keys.

Stadium design will happen throughout 2024, with project updates and giving opportunities outlined at una.edu/bistadium.
