Overview
From A Dream To The Sports In Kansas Facility Of The Year
Passion, community, hard work, and dedication. It all came together to create something big for the small Kansas hometown of NFL Chicago Bears offensive lineman Cody Whitehair. Abilene wanted a new central gathering space for its community, beyond the basic K-12 outdoor sports facility. A place Cody could host football summer camps for young athletes to grow their skills. Our design-build solution was named the 2022 Sports in Kansas Facility of the Year.
The House That Mammoth Built
Abilene went all-in on their new sports facility. From demo to completion, we consulted, created, and constructed: master planning, architecture and design, field design, base construction, turf installation, sod and irrigation, concrete, vertical construction, and track. It was a long time coming, and the results will be felt for generations.
